Raquel de Mattos Pimenta

Raquel Pimenta holds a PhD (2019) and a Master (2015) in Economic Law and Political Economy from the University of Sao Paulo (USP) Law School. She was a visiting researcher at Yale Law School (2017-2018) and at Georgetown University (2019), as well as a postdoctoral Global Fellow researcher at FGV Direito SP (2020). She was awarded a Fulbright scholarship and a FAPESP grant during her doctorate and master studies, respectively. She is a bachelor of laws at the University of Sao Paulo Law School (2012) with an exchange program at the Institut d´Études Politiques (SciencesPo). Her research interests focus on law and development, corruption, public policies, and political economy.
