Michelle Leroux

Michelle Leroux lectures in competition law. She was Chair of the Expert Advisory Panel on the recent amendments to the Competition Act, a member of the Expert Panel on Institutional Requirements, as well as of the Competition Stakeholders’ User Forum. Michelle has been recognised in Who’s Who: Legal and 40 in their 40s: Notable Women Competition Professionals in Europe, the Americas and Africa, and won GCR’s Litigation of the Year: Non-cartel. She is the co-author of ‘Precedent and Possibility: the (ab)use of law in South Africa’ (2008) and several published articles and opinion pieces, as well as the forthcoming Lawfare: Judging Politics in South Africa.
