Camila Alves Borges Oliveira

Post-doctoral researcher at the Doctoral Program at the FGV Sao Paulo Law School 

Camila Alves Borges Oliveira is currently a Post-doctoral Researcher at the Academic Master and Doctoral Program at FGV Direito SP. She holds a Ph.D. Degree in Law (2019) from the Department of Philosophy and Theory of Law at the University of São Paulo. In 2018, she was a visiting scholar at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and at the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales, where she developed part of her doctoral study. She also holds a Master’s Degree in Sociology and Law from the Federal Fluminense University (2013), a B.A. in Law from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (2009), and also in Arts from the University of the State of Rio de Janeiro (2010). Her studies focus on legal education and legal professions in Brazil, with emphasis on the socialization of lawyers, the constitution of legal consciousness, and the language of Law.
