Fabio de Sa e Silva is Associate Professor of International Studies and Wick Cary Professor of Brazilian Studies at the University of Oklahoma.
A sociolegal scholar, his research examines law, legal institutions, and the legal profession in contexts of democratic backsliding and resistance, and has been recognized with awards for both his articles and books.
He is a co-convener of the Project on Autocratic Legalism, host of PALcast, and President of the Brazilian Studies Association.
